I hope you're all enjoying your weekends. Hope you're getting in lots of R & R. I'm getting over shingles and a sinus infection, so I have been ordered by my doctor to rest and de-stress. ...that can be difficult for me. It has been a weekend of walking outside (in our rainy, blustery weather), watching movies, reading, and naps. And I made some vanilla ice cream - French-style yesterday. Yum!

ReplyDeleteI've been sick as well for the last week. It hit me last weekend, and the doctor thought it was either strep throat or the flu - but not just any flu, this one you get one or two symptoms at a time for a prolonged period, lovely! The strep test came but negative, so I've been riding this 'flu' out, a new symptom everyday. Been doing the same sort of activities over here, lots of movies, and got out for some fresh air this morning.
At least you got some ice cream made - all is not lost! Thanks for the reminder, still haven't had a chance to try Annie's recipes. Maybe some ice cream cookie sandwiches will be in my future!
